During large scale emergencies, it can be challenging to find innovative ways to share vital messages through social media. This session discusses award-winning social media techniques used by the Chatham Emergency Management Agency for hurricanes, tornadoes, winter storms, plane crashes and other disasters over the last three years. You’ll learn how to use simple tools such as Facebook Live to connect with your community during these trying times.
