Several agencies have multiple social media accounts, and the question is often posed, "should we have a separate page for X, or keep it under one?” Separate departments that have a demand for their content should be separate to be seen as a legitimate source. Too often, cities or counties seek to govern the messaging and desire to limit their exposure to just one page. This session will provide guidance and tips for managers to take back and help convince their management to divide. Also discussed will be when agencies have divided their exposure too much.
